How to play the Skin Games...

Do you think you have what it takes?

 

We are looking for the top estheticians out there who want to show off their skills, promote their businesses, compete for prizes, and have lots of fun!

 

1. REGISTER

 

2. PICK A CATEGORY

 

  • $110 registration fee for each category you enter (A portion each registration will be given to Esthetics Council for verification of each esthetician.

  • ​

3. Find a Model

  • Find a client/model  that can commit to 8 weeks of treatment

  • Make sure to fill out the Model Release Form

  • Make sure to take a BEFORE picture of your model holding a newspaper to proof your start date.

  • Make sure to take an AFTER picture of your model to show your end date and RESULTS!

 

4. Video Diaries

  • Every week, check in with your video diary to show your weeks progress. Upload diaries to website each week.

  • Make your videos interesting and creative because there is a strong possibility that your video could go viral, and the public will vote for their favorite esthetician in the PEOPLE'S CHOICE CATEGORY. *

  • VIDEO 8 must include wrap up, before and after results, have your model present, and  is under 2 mins.

  • It is suggested to create an intro video about your model, results expected, your skills and about YOU!

 

5. The Top 10 Finalists for each Category are chosen

  • The top 10 players from each category chosen to go to the LIVE SHOW (except Make up Face OFF)

  • The Top 20 Make up Finalists will go to THE LIVE SHOW

  • Top 3 Videos will be selected for FINALIST in COMPASSIONATE CATEGORY AT THE LIVE SHOW

  • Each contestant will be selected on technique and before and after results

  • The top 10 Finalists from each Category will go to THE LIVE AWARD SHOW to be interviewed by the panel of judges

  • The top esthetician for each category will be decided by the panel of judges and will be announced at THE LIVE SHOW

 

 

THE SKIN GAMES LIVE SHOW will be held TBD at The Marriot Hotel - San Ramon.

  • The finalists will be questioned by a panel on a live stage

  • There will be first, second and third place winners per category

  • The Top Estheticians will be announced at THE SKIN GAMES LIVE AWARD SHOW

(The last day to submit all of your registration, photos and video diaries will be February 1, 2018)

 

 

*Starting January 1, 2018, anyone can vote for their favorite esthetician by placing a vote on our website. The top 10 favorites will be chosen to go to the live games for the People's Choice Award.
