Joe Blasco

Joe has is a man of many firsts as he has been blazing through his long and distinguished career: His firsts include  creation of “bladder" makeup effects, creation of government-approved centers for professional MUA training, and being the first makeup artist chemist to refine and create makeup for low-light photography and high-resolution film and TV processes, long before the advent of HD.

Some of his most outstanding contributions to the Makeup Industry are the creation of the first airbrush make-up, the first natural red and blue neutralizers, the first “death colors,” and the first “stay-type” products. He is also recognized as the first to commercially sell “arterial blood” (known as “lo-lite”) and high-pigment foundations produced without isopropyl myristate.

Conor McCullagh

Conor started his career in makeup effects in 1990. Raised in Vancouver, Canada, he moved to Los Angeles as there were few opportunities in Canada at the time. Conor started out making large scale foam sculptures and molds for animatronic theme park characters before getting a foothold in film and television. By 1993, Conor was the creature supervisor for season 2 of the “Mighty Morph’n Power Rangers”. From there, he moved onto feature films like “Mars Attacks”, “Freddy vs Jason” and “Seed of Chucky”. In 2011, Conor McCullagh became the first champion of the international hit television series “Face Off”. A makeup series that pits artist against artist in a series challenges that test the competitiors knowledge and skills in prosthetic and character makeup. That victory led to Conor being invited to work with Face Off judge and 3 time Oscar winner, Ve Niell. In 2015 Conor received an award for best character/ period makeup for Mockingjay1, under department heads Ve Niell and Nikoletta Skarlatos. Conor McCullagh ended 2015 as department head of prosthetic makeup for the new Cinemax television series “Outcast”.

Laura Dandridge

Laura is best known to the public for her appearance's as a contestant on SYFY’s hit reality TV show FaceOff. Since appearing on seasons 3, 5, 8, Laura has continued working as a professional makeup artist for the film and television industry in Atlanta Georgia. Joining the IATSE Makeup and Hair union in 2012, Laura has had the opportunity to work on sone major films which includes Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Thor: Ragnorok, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2. 

Candace Collier

Candace has been working as a full-time, freelance makeup artist in the Atlanta market for the past eight years, where she works predominantly in the high-definition television and video space.  Adept in recognizing the specific makeup needs of her video clients, Candace finds herself in high-demand and is often personally requested by producers, directors, and talent alike.  Well-known talent she has worked with include Kelsey Grammer, Greta Van Susteran, Jasmine Guy, Chipper Jones, and Rev. Al Sharpton. 

Informed by her former business roles within Turner Broadcasting and ABC-Disney, Candace attributes much of her success to mastering the intersection of art, professionalism and client service. Proficiency in all aspects of the business is an integral component of the courses she teaches at Atlanta Makeup Academy.

Gwynnis Mosby

As a professional make-up artist, Gwynnis Mosby has made a notable name for herself in her craft. With over twenty-four years experience in makeup, she is one of the most prominent and sought after make-up artists in the world. Her extensive and noteworthy list of clientele extends from actors such as Bill Cosby, Lynn Whitfield and Lisa Raye to singers such as Stevie Wonder, Faith Evans, Monica, and Toni Braxton. Her work has been featured on television programs such as The Oprah Winfrey Show and the MTV Music Awards, the Grammys as well as in top magazines such as Essence, Vogue, and Marie Claire.

Erin Madigan Fleck

Erin’s career in cosmetology began as a professional makeup artist in New York with Mary Quant and Biba cosmetics of London. Her makeup artistry appeared for over 20 years in magazines, television, films, fashion shows, and makeup competitions – she was awarded the prestigious C.I.D.E.S.C.O. International Award of Excellence representing the United States and placing 2nd in the World Makeup Competition for her work in fantasy makeup. She is a graduate of the Christian Chauveau Institute De Maquillage Artistique in Paris, France under the direction of Danny Sanz (Makeup Forever) and the Marvin G. Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in Hollywood, CA.

Kimberly Crocker

Kimberly Crocker is a licensed Master Cosmetologist and well known Make-up artist in the Southeast. Kimberly made her move to Atlanta from Virginia with a focus on becoming a fashion designer and pursuing acting and modeling. Her love for the Beauty and Entertainment industry have been a very influential part of her career. Over the past 19 years, Kimberly has worked on sets for film, commercials, industrials, PSA, print, fashion shows, corporate and red carpet events. Kimberly is proud to be the President for Makeup Artists of Atlanta a networking group that consists of over 300 members, including makeup artists and estheticians in the Atlanta area. Kimberly host quarterly events. Kimberly describes herself as Professional, Adaptable and a Collaborator. Kimberly's expertise in beauty make-up has landed her opportunities to work with top talent such as Entertainment Tonight's Co-Host Rocsi Diaz and from Bravo's -The New Atlanta -Africa Miranda, just to name a few. Kimberly's work ethic and creativity is a major part of what sets her apart.

Nicole Cocuzza

Nicole Cocuzza has been an accomplished Esthetician, Professional Makeup Artist and Beauty Ambassador for over 25 years. Nicole's passion for Beauty and wellness began in 1987 while attending The Christine Valmy School of Scientific Esthetics and makeup artistry.  After graduating, Nicole went on to study Film, Photography, High Fashion Runway and Special Effects Makeup at the Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood Ca. There she was welcomed at Sunset Gower Studios where she worked on many hit television series of the 1980's,  including Who's The Boss, Married With Children and Blossom.Nicole's commitment in all facets of the beauty and wellness industry fuels her desire to continuously research, study and practice healthier perspectives of self-acceptance and self-preservation. Nicole is also a licensed Esthetics Educator, Founder of Skin Religion Professional Skin Care and was recently recognized as a Game Changing finalist at the 2017 International Skin games competition.  Nicole enjoys sharing her personal experiences in this ever evolving industry to provide tools in achieving higher levels of personal and professional growth, while continuing to inspire and encourage her clients, students and colleagues.

John Blake

Years active1985 to present. John Blake is an American make-up artist. He has been nominated for one Academy Award, for the film Hoffa. He shared the nomination with Ve Neill and Greg Cannom.[1] He has worked on films for directors like Oliver Stone and the Coen Brothers as key make-up artist on NixonU Turn, and Fargo.[2] In more recent years, he has worked on The Avengers, the Iron Man trilogy, There Will Be BloodTropic Thunder, and many other films over a 30-year career
